Everything looks phenomenal, but at the end of the day this is a Kickstarter project that has also changed design elements during its funding process.

Would wait till it's out for a few months, wait to hear what people have to say.

kilpatric audio are pretty big in euro...do some real high end stuff

plus they got their own modular format... so id imagine this might have to do with some of it seeing as it didnt really take off

but yeah... great feature set and quality components           Â°Â°Â°ACTS 4:12°°°°

just checked them out, that's a lot of modules they've, made. can definitely see how the Phenol would be derived from that.

considering how long it is backordered these is no option but to wait and see now... did you order one already?

Sold all my eurorack. It's a drain. It decrease productivity & costs more than its actual value IMO.

Got two xoxbox's by Andy Pledger on the way, a Bass Station 2, a mate's building me a Sonic Potions LXR & Escape From Noise are selling me a Phenol when they come in stock.

Also the money from my eurorack is funding some fx pedals, thunderbolt audio interface, mixing desk & some devices to make syncing my devices live a lot simpler without having a computer at all.

Also getting anew midi keyboard & NI komplete when it's updated.

Only hardware I want now is a Prophet 12 which I'll get for my 2016 birthday.

My mate has a Phenol & it's great. Super compact but does everything from star fueled ambient to psychedelic Goa & deep oozy forest sounds.

I may consider a small euro setup with the Roland/Malekko 500 series once it's out & others have tested it. The few reports over heard so far make the sound nice & I love the original Roland sound for trance.           Cuntus Maximus.

Thanks OzMike, now I'm even more intrigued by Phenol! Do you think your friend could link some samples to the sounds he's made ?

I'm thinking about going Eurorack too but will stick to DIY modules, that way the price pays for the sound.

Roland 500 series I heard do not sound as good as the System 100. This comes from someone who owns 2 racks of the 100s and was invited to try out the 500 few months ago.

Thanks for the info re Roland. Yeah I'm tossing up between doing that or a WMD/SSF system. The Spectrum oscillator I still have is sweet as my wife's woohoo lol

Anyway my mate has only had it for a fortnight. He's reworking a bunch of a melodic techno tracks he had done for label to incorporate the Phenol but he's OCD about quality so he reckons it'll be another month until he'll put it online lol.

My chat with the bloke from Escape From Noise where I'll get mine said that Kilpatrick Audio are working on a larger format version or maybe a poly keyboard variation.           Cuntus Maximus.
