it seems to be hard to obtain good psy kiks of the net!!
does anyone no where i could find some nice solid skazi style thumpers?

call asher(skazi) and tell him you r from dj magazine and that your makin a poll about psy-trance kick and ask him to send ya a cd with the kicks he uses.

You can always listen very carefully to your favourite songs and try to find a kick that is isolated on its own....

yes,that would be the easiest way!!!
but isnt that copyright?
i dont think i would be happy if i slaved over the perfect kik 4 hours and somebody just plucked it out 4 themself.maybe people dont care.
there are a lot of good kiks out there,i mean do people just make them from scratch?
is there a particular program wich is ideal for doing this? |

yes. try Hyperion's Stomper for some easy kick synthesis, and also in soundforge, using the synthesis and pitch bend qualities. check the infected website for their guide on how to create a kick, and than start tweaking and changing it, getting to your unique sound.
