Kristian calling the police AFTER the kids got OD'ed is one thing and calling the police just because there is a kid in the dancefloor is another thing, can you understand this or not?
Ofcourse the police should be informed after what happened to that child, what we are discussing in here is what the policy of festivals should be concerning kids (in my opinion no kids should be allowed in the first place) and what the policy of people should be once they spot that a kid is in a festival and he might be unattended (first inform the festival organisers and then the police if nothing changes in my opinion).
I cant say it simpler than that.

Pointing fingers at the festival for bad parenting is out of proportions here I think, even though it of course can be debated if kids shouldn't be allowed in at all. But you can't expect the organizers to know what's going on in every camp on a festival with probably +5,000 people (I am guessing on the numbers here).
And suggesting that the organizers are drug-addicts like Kristian did on page 1 is definitely a very low blow...

Well let's get the facts straight here.
A Festival has the 1st and last responsibility to make sure it's costumers are safe. And Children are unwilling costumers who probably never had a saying if they wanted to be there or not.
Yes of course the parents are the ones to blame here (IMO they should not be allowed to be parents) but to use the blind eye and clear the Festival for any guilt or responsibility is in my opinion a bit naive and also not OK.
And no matter how low you think I go it's also a fact many many organizers use drugs at their own festivals. I also played at Antaris-Festival in 2009 and witnessed some of the staff (I wont point fingers naming the persons) smoking weed and using harder chemicals too.
Yes Antaris is a very well organized Festival but that does not mean we should not look at the problems this Festival has IMO (that most festivals have). Which are:
1. They allow Children
2. They allow Dogs
3. They do nothing to prevent hard drugs entering the Festivals.
Then maybe you think I am too hard. I think you maybe close your eyes to reality because you had a great time there which is OK
@ Detox
I agree with you but I all the time here debated about this incident. not what to do in other Festivals where I agree there should be no Children and Dogs at all.

No I wont. I believe I have the right to have an opinion regardless of what you think
I think an Organizer and the crew should not be under any influence (nor alcohol) when being responsible for so many people.

Why in earth's name should they prevent hard drugs from entering the festival? The only reason i can think of is because the police wants it that way..

Imo you put the festival organizer in a bad spot if you call the cops without letting them know. How would they react to the cops showing up and claiming someone made a phone call that will allow them on the grounds?
Why anyone would bring their kids to such a large event is beyond me.

Seriously I do not care if the organizers or the parents are getting into trouble for allowing a kid to OD on the Festival
I would call the cops any day if I was witnessing parents on a Festival off their rockers while their kids was walking around alone finding drugs to try out.

ME EITHER. I would NOT wait for the promoters permission to call 911 and get proper medical attention. There's no way in hell any promoter is more important than a CHILD. Who cares what type of attention it causes...this is a LIFE in critical condition.
