Hey there 
I started to code a synthesizer dedecaded to kickdrum synthesis. It's name is Kickstudio α.
This new kickdrum synthesizer is completly developed in java and it is still under development.
Some features aren't completly implemented yet. Furthermore the gui design needs some improvement but a first beta version is going to be released soon.
You can already see some screenshots and get a first package of demonstration kickdrum samples at the Kickstudio α blog:

There are more infos and will be even more soon. A public beta is going to be released in the near future.
