I already read the previous topics... where people say to use soundforge or stomper...
well I used soundforge, got some good kicks BUT they all sound a bit to bassey if you know what I mean, and the stomper I can't get a very good kick from it even when I compress it and eq.
Could someone please help be out here?

try to open an EQ plug-in and reduce the low freq's (somewhere arround 30Hz-60Hz and lower). even try to rais the EQ arround the mid-hight freq's, it could help it to be more punchy, and then compress it.

u can adchive good results with sf...
...with bassy u mean not punchy enough or what ?
--> more use of pitch bend, short attacks
--> and then like arie wrote..=(-; exspecially removing the low ones is important if u like to play deep basslines.
