just like so many other ppl I mostly use the sample pack by EDM percussion guru - Thomas Penton They're great sounding and I just hook them up in Kontakt2. One beautiful day I'll start to synthesize them myself, but until then there's so much other stuff to learn.

complete bollocks.

You can see when the file was uploaded, so it hasn't changed since then - how can it be different yesterday?

Unless you are suggesting that filefront is somehow trying to distribute viruses - errrrr...

You really need to be certain before spreading accusations that strong...           .

hey, you may want to check out my kick drum synth which a lot of people seem to get some mileage out of.

Works on any PC that can run VSTi's.

Good luck!

I've made some really cool kicks in Reason with Maström. Also wity my SH101. Once ive made i kick i sample it and use i later on but usually i apply pitch envelope modulation to make it sound different.

yeah I use psykick, very good plugin indeed speakafreaka.i've made quite a few kicks with this.
i think this method has been mentioned before........
I use 2 psykicks to make a kick, 1 short and snappy lasting about 20-35ms(fast attack) with a highpass and quite a lot of EQing on the highs to bring the the attack and decay up and 1 producing a low long kick with a slow attack and a lowpass on it and maybe another EQ cut over the lot, exescope analyzer on the master/group channel to make sure they peak the same and to check for bad phase problems, hardly no compression (only slightly if needed).
basically its mixing the top of 1 kick with the bottom of another.in my opinion there are more possibilities and they can sound a lot thicker.
