Here are the same steps in Sylenth but the point is that people when they finish watching the video should go like "Oh, was a good video, but i dont have that synth.... hmmm but my vsti has a oscilator, and a filter/resonance and a ADSR, hmmmm maybe i could recreate his steps on that" And thats how you learn
