HI once again!!
I'd like to know at what velocity do you usually play your kick??
Until about a month ago, I totally forgot about the kicks velocity. Now that I remembered,I started changing it. Berofe it stayed always at 80% (except for drum solo's of course). But Will it sound good on a PA if I put the kick's velocity at 100 for the whole track? What do you do?
Thankz

This makes no sense. Velocity is not a constant so one kick sample will play at a different volume as another kick played with the same velocity. There are also different velocity curves.

i have it at 100, as messing with velocity on the kick only changes the volume of it. |

Usually it's not something I'd worry about. Just make sure you have enough space to go higher if you want to go harder and much space below if you want to go softer. |

The volume of the kick is what's important..as soulfood said just make sure you have room for more velocity if necessary. |

100 , 80 , whats the diferent.
its all in the sample
load the kick into audio channel and look @ if Waveform looks good enough.
you can also normalize @ 0dB.
