start with your basic wav at (XX)HZ depend on the note. try to get exact frequency its not too hard with tone generators. the lowest octave lets say usualy is around 40-60hz or so.
now use the pitch bend option , with exacly 1 octave , quick envelope that drops down (like ocelot or infected tutorials) (from the higher octave so 0 is your basic pitch)
this kinda make sure the click and the bottom of the kick is tuned
try start from your bass patch , this makes wiggly weird feelings of perfect kick-bass combo.

My lil' app might help to calculate the bpm to a octave analog note value.
In the first app "root" is the roots note a'

OK!!! now i got the problem with the pitchdown thingy. like the pitchdown in the tutorial from infected mushroom. so think i dont have to repeat than only for myself, we´re talking bout the envelope setting for the pitch, shown i think in one of the last pics of the tutorial.

maybe to get back to that kick/bass story on root note. i was not able to figure out until now how to get the note of my kickdrum with bazzism. so it´s a really nice plugin, makin things much easier for me, as there is no soundforge for macintosh. and maybe i should give the idea elad had a try. thought often about that, cause sure it´s one way to save that kick/bass flow.
