Well, I made a kick. Hearing the kick, everything sounds to be ok. But when I looked to my speakers, I realised woofers were "shaking" too much.... Is it normal??? Or is it a clue about bad kick??

Thanks....           LOADING...

well i think it's BIG metter of acoustic .
i remmber when the room didn't sit right
we also liked the "wind" from the speakers .
but now i think it's to much , and if i try 2 remmber
parties iv'e been , the kick was just strong
and jumpy , but no "wind" ...           sYnthrOid -

well, sometimes when frequincies that you cant hear ( 20 hz and a bit less ) are not cut off than they make this windy effect ( normal speakers not woofers ) so do tell wich of the speakers moved and do check if you cut off the freq of adlist 60hz and down.

Thanks!!!

And jacky, you´re right! I´m taking about the "big woofer" of my stereo speakers(it has actually two "woofers".I think one for high/med and other for low/med).

And what I made to take this effect out was decreasing master db on eq. But I lost some "punch", but it´s ok. I think it´s better less punch than windy effect, right?

i think that the only way to know is hearing it on a good monitors ,

sounds like you eq the kick very basy , which is not always the way to a punchy kick , my advise to you is to open it in a spectrum analayzer & simply watch the freaquensies , u ca even watch other kicks u like for refferances , if it sounds right & it looks right than i suppuse it's right....           visit us on myspace.com/yotopia

try to eq the kick according to the bassline or other bass elements as overlaping freqs can make wind, and make a track heavy to the ear.
wich is bad...
