Interesting sugestion Colin, me and Makus have came to the conclusion that the DAW metters will allays be more acurate and that using meters on the pluging increases substantialy the ammount of cpu, so maybe just a clip LEDon the main section or next to the kick and bass volumes?

Both KnB can be switched on/off and you can send them to a single audio channel or to 2 separate ones, so that you can post prcess them separate, hence the reason why metters might not be necessary!

We've had 2 lfo's and a mod envelope that could be assignable to almoust every parameter before but we need to stick to what is really usefull, otherwise we end up with alot of cpu demand and too many uselles features(making it confusing to the end user), lets not forget this is for kick and bass, not leads, pads, etc...

lol very true. however a mod matrix type of thing where you can assign everything to everything, would seperate everyone from everyone sounding the same. ie velocity to maybe flter decay or sustain etc etc. not many vsts go wild with the veriation to make a new bass groove sounding complex and not the same.

a mod matrix with ability to route everything to everything won't help u much in creating solid and consistant bass with significant low end. the concept of mod matrix goes with regular synths, not with bass synths.

maybe im misunderstood. maybe i dont fancy a rollin consistant bassline... not everything is about dark psy where it just goes on and on and on and on. maybe i want the flexabilty of assigning my filter decay to velocity and not just volume or cutoff. maybe not a matrix as such, but the flezbiltiy so il never get bord with it. thats what i mean really

Jizy does have a point on velocity to filter assigning, but I don't think more modulation than that is needed.... could be done with a simple potentiometer...
That said, I played around with the Gel a bit yesterday, result, a very massive and clean bass line in not much time...
What made me especially happy is that it still seemed to oscillate nicely without losing the fundamental when in a very tight envelope, and I took it to 165bpm without the bass becoming a smear, there was still a very nice staccato in it!
Very promising I dare say!!!

oh man, busy this weekend, will get back onto it on Monday, can't wait. It really is a lot of fun to be able to make suggestions about a plugin and see them implemented. and the hp sidechain really should set your plugin apart from most others. Must've been a lot of work to make it happen... I'll contact you tomorrow Minddoctors...

Not long till the demo is out!
Unfortunatley there are some bad news:
So far found 2 unfixable bugs!!!
1 - The envelopes will clip but only if you dont snap your notes to 128, 64, 32, 16, etc.
2 - Automation may not work in some versions of Cubase 6!
(We had a reported bug on Cubase 6.0.5 where automation was crashing Cubase, unfortunatley we have not been able to test it on other Cubase6 versions so I would appreciate if you are a Cubase6 user that you'd try automation before buy)
