Sorry for the missinformation, I've been told on the Windows vst to mac topic that this fxpansion is only to convert mac vsts to mac AUs. No AU version then, sorry.
For Kick N Bass Gel 2 I plan to gather forces with a c++ developer and make a version for every system but for now is only win VST.

Guys,
After a long talk with Makus(Overdream), I decided to redesign this plug-in and because I know that there are a lot of talented people here on the forum with loads of great ideas and because this is a synth for the psytrance community I am asking for your help!!!
Hope that by having a look at the picture you can have an idea of what's in this plug-in:
Now I'd like to know your opinion on the following:
BASS
1- How many of you use the amp envelope with settings other than these:
attack=0(or enough not to give noise artefacts)
decay=0
sustain=max
release=1(or enough not to give noise artefacts)
Now having these settings always set we could simply control the note length on the piano roll so this way there would be no need for an visible amp envelope, this would simplify things when building our basslines.
What do you think?
2- Some bass plug-ins are now coming with a second filter winch can be used in serie or parallel.
How many of you actually find this useful?
"At start I found it useful for boosting or cutting some freq. but with KickNBass Gel you can do that anyway using the harmonic attenuators"
So I'm thinking of removing it!
What do you think?
3- 2 OSC offer great versatility, especially when messing around with phase and placing them in different octaves!
But would it be necessary to have 2 separate filters with filter envelopes for each one, or one filter with one filter envelope would be enough?
What do you think?
4- On the top right corner of the picture you can see an envelope that controls both kick and bass.
Now this envelope has 3 controls, hold, decay, release, Makus advised me that it might be a good idea to keep it as one single control, like hold.
It's actually a good idea as it would simplify things!
What do you think?
DESIGN
1- VU Meters
I have been told that they are only taking up space, I like them otherwise I wouldn't place them there and they serve as a reference for avoiding clipping and knowing the relationship between kick and bass volumes but can obviously be replaced by normal meters or simply by a clip LED.
What do you think?
2- Placement
The placement for the different modules could be improved as I have been told it doesn't make much sense how things are laid out!
Makus came up with the following idea:
1. the admin section with Midi Learn / Unlearn, Colour Selection, preset management, A/B, general On/Off and stuff like that
2. Info section with help, meters, indicators, displays etc
3. synth section with oscillator and envelope, also there should be On/Off of the current OSC
4. filter section with filtering and envelope
5. other stuff like attenuator
6. FX
What do you think?
3- Labelling
When you hover the mouse over the controls the help screen tells you what is what and in my opinion is quite easy to know what you are looking at due to the small labels underneath but I have been working on this for months and that's probably why I know what's what.
I have been told that it's a good idea to label everything as this would increase user readability!
What do you think?
Any other suggestion would be greatly appreciated!
I know everybody is always very busy making tracks but anyone who knows me knows that I do as much as I can for the community and considering this is a synth for us all, I would greatly appreciate your help!

I might at times, for instance when making ambient music...

To really fine tune it I like to use both !

The more possibilities, the better

2 separate filters sound way cool imo

better a full volume meter, since you are having kick and bass in one plug that might make things better ...

Beta is being tested and still changing some stuff on it!
Here is a test I made earlier:
No other fx on top, just Kick N Bass Gel, I had a play and tried to make some diferent stuff, not much detail, just some fun!
