Well, the kick sample is cut well, I've tried several samplers..
Why is it doing this?

All I can say is that I created an audio region out of one kick and looped it in Logic 8 and I heard no fluctuations. I am either going deaf or it just loops it right.

Sounds like the audio engine of Logic works differently to the one in Live, then. But didn't we know that already? Anyway, it doesn't help the guy with his problem.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

I can't listen to it here at work for some reason, but something like this happened to me. I imported a sample into the sampler and for some reason the first 4 kicks were louder than the others in the 4 measure loop.

All I did was erase the first 4, duplicate a set of 4 that were ok and drag them to the first measure and that fixed it.

no my friend, you're not going deaf. it's Live that causes the fluctuation during the repetition of the specific kick sample.

in Live whenever you import audio in a channel, Live tries to calculate beats/tempo/time to fit this audio as a loop. that's done with 'warp' and it's usually turned ON. (plus it's almost never accurate, u have to type exact tempo by hand )

as pilgrim said above, try turning warp OFF, or as ableton advises use a sampler
