well.,
it's pretty easy to make some kicks .,
you can do it in a few minutes!
use a synth with a sine oscilator
or a synth with a filter that has self-oscilation (and crank the reso up all the way  )
tune the oscilator as low as possible
(or set the filter cutoff around zero)
then use an envelope to control the pitch (or filter cuttoff) to shape the kick.
you'll get the hang of it pretty fast.,
and anything is welcome as long as it sounds a bit like a trance kick .,
and it doesnt have to be good., as long as it's vaguely usable in trance.,

How many kicks do a person need to upload to have access to download the other kicks ??
Is it ratio based ?

well, actually,
i've changed that rule quite some time ago.,
now you have to upload TWO selfmade kicks,.
but you get a lot in return so it's worth it.,

Just got around to checking these out. Some nice contributions. FYI stereo kicks with the same information in both channels are just dual mono, and the second channel is extraneous. It wastes filespace, and worse, if you wanna process it in a song, you can't use mono versions of plugins. IMO a good kick is gonna have a lot of treble, to cut through the mix, or else you're going to end up doing too much layering and/or augmenting it with CHH or PHH sounds. Also, it's going to pitch mod fast, and generally be over and done with by the 150ms mark, else it will sound like an old Astral Projection kick, and it's going to destroy any fast basslines which are more of the hallmark of current trance. Some people dig that era, I don't personally like those kicks much.
I thought thockin' Hockin's kick was a good example, as well as Colin's and a few others. Good stuff, all around though, not to denigrate anyone's contribution. Nice idea. Remember that the kick is about 1/10th of the song, albeit important. |

Hi! i found post on isratrance for upload/download kicks
I use FTP expert for connect to your server, all is ok, i go on Download and i want to tranferst 1 or more kicks, but the server stop and say me :
