When i have created a kickdrum in soundforge..how should i know if it is heaby enough? Is there any testsoftware i can run it in...??

just listen to some professional tracks you like, then compare it with your ears, if it's near the sound your idols produce.
it's all about taste and about your ears.

infected mushroom have a kickass kickdrum tutorial... using sound forge i think? i did it, made some samples ages ago. forgot exactly what i did though.
i think its just a sinewave that starts out high pitched, then gets lower and lower until reaching a desired frequency. if it sounds too high pitched, apply a lowpass filter.
