well...I must say that after I heard the first track from the album (Voice of resurrection)I had some expectations and ordered it.

In generally, it's not a bad disc, but the other tracks are not as good as the first 1
and u know...nothing really thrilling about it.
shit. I knew I should have ordered Phutureprimitive instead.

I just found at random the album this afternoon in an independant music shop of my town, i was estonished about finding it, furthermore it was cheap less than 15€.
So i took a carefull listen in the shop & as i found it pretty nice, bought it.
I will try to write a little something about the sound this week end.

The sound production is not usual on this CD, take time for listen.
dont forget to open your mind for listen music, a lot of time your "desires" are not conected directely into "the composer world".
& your judgement is wrong.

I guess u r right in a way. Some disks need a second ro even a thirs listen to "understand" the music, but not this time.

As I said, "A cup of tea" is not a bad disc. The "problem" is that I didn't find any breaking through in their style (like the kind I found in Entheogenic's or Waterjuice albums, for example)

I supose I'm in a stage of looking for something more sufisticated. that's all....

What impress me most is the sound & mastering quality, i never encountered that much this live music feeling before with an album.

Yeah I rekon this one has lots of good stuff...first time I listened I wasn't into it...then I played it again and again and it really grows on you. His production style seems to be different and this might be why some don't like it, Franck is the percussionist from LDB (Secret Vibes) and so a lot sounds "live"... but I feel that there are a lot of people writing similar stuff and Franck is doing his own thing which I think is great...i'll have a cup of Kick Bong anyday!
