Are your kick and bass different samples? (files)?

What type of file is it?

What program do you use?

Do you have a sound editor?

That's the old Question-with-a-Question but ..

Also, Use the Attack on the kick sample, to shorten the WAV sample. clips and Chirps are often due to the length of the wave.           "We Do Not Allways See Things As They Are. We See Things As We Are" -Ancient Chinese Proverb

Maybe fade out some of the kick in a wav editor.

No need for that. in fruity, every wav loaded is prone for some sound problems, whether it's edited or not. the final result however, is how you edit the sound In Fruityloops. if you want the kick to be short sounded, deep and pounding, do the following:
use the standard C_Kick. stretch it to 3. next, shorten it's attack time. next, lower the cut about 1/3 of the way. use the resonance to adjust the sound some more. Next - use fruity Parametric EQ. it has a prest called "BassDrum Punch". slap that on and tweak it a bit till you get the proper sound and your set.           "We Do Not Allways See Things As They Are. Ok Sound,

First, see if the click is in the sample. The fruity sampler window had the waveform at the bottom .... see if the chirp is recorded along with the kick.

(Try to play witth the ADSR to cut out the volume of the end of the sample ... )

Also, if you have the Volume option turned on (Sampler window---> INS tab --> Volume Tab --- >> Yellow led at top left of ADSR window. now your sound should end when you release your keyboard key...

Long story short - You can also cut the end of the sample with a sound editor.

IF the click comes from somewhere else ... thats a different problem.

As for EQ ... either get the low-down on Eq ... or get an EQed Kick ...

Or check www.infected.co.il on how to make a kick yourself ... (Even though you *Have* to love that Fruity ClubKick)

Good Luck!

maybe U have a small level at the very end of the kick!
And then it produces high frequencies when the level jumps to zero.

Try to fade out the very last part of the sample.
Another thing is: Fruity makes crazy sounds, when the sample is too loud.
Listen to the kick solo and try to reduce the level.

True. but that can be fixed using attack.

if you put a loud sample in ANY sequencer or music creation program, it'll sound loud. EQ is paramount for every program           "We Do Not Allways See Things As They Are. We See Things As We Are" -Ancient Chinese Proverb

@Jason
attack for fading out the end??????
Am I in the false film?
Attack works on the beginning of a sound!

There's the 'Release' to work on the end!
or what?
