hi there people just wonderd how u mix these too, iz it kick octave higher than bass line?
eq, kick E2 bassline E1? or the same? k E1 b E1.

experiment!
i heard some one say a fifth above the bass key..
but you can come up with lots of ways..
if you have a good kick than find which tone the bass fits... sometimes you find good combinations!
sometimes you can try and pitch the kick up or down to see if it hums with the bass a little better...
but again experiment is the best way

there is no rule about that, what ever sounds good.
there are alot of tracks that have kick higher then then bass and it sounds really good.
and there are also alot of tracks that have kick and bass on same note that sound very good. so its all up to you, whatever sounds good to you.
