depends on how ur bas and kick is sounding...
mostly i think around 100-150 hz
just a tip i think works.. its always better to cut than boost.. |

its easy, the notch from the kick is at the cut point from the bass. even the notch from the bass is at the cut point from the kick.
make experiments with it.

Anyway, my technique is to EQ each one to itself and then compress them together.
