hello. using reason i find very difficult to eq the kick as i want. once ive finished my track ill pass all the song to soundforge and the question is can i only program the kick in soudnforge an then mix it with the track, using soundforge only for the kick and reason for the other stuff.

Well, you can put your kick into sound forge for eqing, and then move it to reason once you've eqed it, no?

are u saying you're gonna do the track without kick and then use soundforge to put a kick in it??

yes samsara, i got it like that too.
but thats maybe the most horrible way to work. its possible for sure, but it'll drive u nutz once u want to get your work flowing.
make your kick with soundforge, export as a wave and load it into reason. simply as that.

yeah man, you have to load the kick into reason...

triyng to fit the kick with the whole rest of the mix is quite mad... and how can you write a track without it? no fun!

try diferent equalizers also in reason...

another free app out there called stomper (version 5 i believe). alot of fun for making kicks. never used any in my tracks but i probably will at some point           www.organicparadox.com

well 1300mhz is too little but cubase should work on that. try to get another 256mb ram card it will improvre your performance.

My Athlon xp2500 that I have now is much much much much better than the Duron 900 I used to have
