someone offered me to buy his yamaha djx (that keyboard synth) for 1450 nis
is it worth that? (i don't really want a good synth since i don't have much money ...)
i know it's "Hovevani" but..................

You might want to consider buying a quality midi controller/keyboard rather than a synth if you're on a budget.
Softsynths are substantially cheaper!
This little chap (http://www.m-audio.com/products/midiman/oxygen8.php) is pretty flash... looks a bit like a novation k-station heh.

It's amateur yes, but actually you can learn alot from it. If your new to the music making you can really enjoy with this one, and learn musical structures. And besides it has plenty knobs which you can assign to knobs in softsynths.
I'd say it's nice offer, though the oxygen keyboard is a better offer.

Forget about MIDI keyboards, go for a synth!
Any synth today has MIDI IN/OUT!!!
Try Yamaha An1X - Not so cheap but fine! |

My opinion? No.
The DJX is a toy - a friend of mine has it. And for 1450 it's a ripoff.
