Keyboard latency HELP!

hey

i have m-audio, radium and when i turn it on in cubase the sound comes in delay
and it drives me crazy!! only when i play on the keyboard it has delay...

what is the f00kin problem?

help please..

its a new one i just bought it...

maybe because i run the soundcard and the keyboard on usb1?

Check that you're using the correct ASIO driver for the Behringer and not DirectX or ASIO Multimedia. You can find this in the VST Multitrack section of the Device Setup window. Check your output latency; for comfortable real-time performing your output latency wants to be less than 10ms. Whenever you got latency in recording midi, even if it's not soundcard latency...

you might aswell want to check if you're using emulated midi ports. This mainly happens with usb devices. You can check the doc (page 2 is important) inside the cubase installation directory, it's in the subfolder MIDI Port Enabler. Basically you want to achieve non emulated ports, this improves timing aswell.

Hope that helps everyone struggling with the same problem I once had.

oh.. btw, i've checked, there's no problem in REASON, only in cubase,
so probably its not the soundcard, maybe the setting..
