For me as a fun is nice to have many options...

There's many of us who do not wish to work shitty jobs for little money in order to have the money to pay entrance fees in parties. And there are also people who are plain poor (immigrants, kids etc.). To these people these two parties are not of the same kind simply because the one has an entrance fee while the other is free (also because the one is cheese and the other is not I would add). So please stop preaching to us about Void Network which is one of the best things happening in Athens nightlife over the last years.

Everyting is ready for tonight...It seems that can be a great night as after long time all the space tribes will meet in two explosive dancefloors and the underground cultures will melt one to each other!...
Bring your best smiles with you, participate with all your heart and mind to the party, climb up in the highest pick of the hill to look all Athens and enjoy the summer sky...and help all of us in the morning to clean the place and leave the amazing beautiful hill of Strefis perfect clean as we received it from the previous collective that organized yesterday another party there....
This is not a party...THIS IS OUR LIFE!

I can't say I enjoyed it much, since the music did not cut it for me the whole night long.
The psytrance was too full-on and at times a bit cheesy for my taste and the techno a bit boring and at the end when it should have bloomed it got nasty Acid Rome.
In brief: Nikitas spinned night-time psy instead of prog psy which he masters much better as a genre, Dura's track selection did not do it for me and neither did George Apergis' one, Enton started off well only to go down speedy mediocre full-on avenue, Iraklis' track selection didn't do it for me (too melodic up to cheesy at times to my ears) and Zerosynapsis must have confused dawn at Strefi with the basement of a squat since at some point he started banging like there was no tomorrow. Crystal Zero's track selection and mixing did not do much for me either although his set was cut off suddenly due to power supply failure that brought the party to a hault at 6 am.
Don't get me wrong, I sure would have wished to dance my socks off the whole night long. Last week at Synch Festival I heard very good music techno-wise on Saturday (David, Shit Robot, Mathew Jonson) and afterwards Goa Gil @ Ellinikos Kosmos killed it too. That's the kind of upfront top quality sets I would love to hear in free events also (there must be some local talent to deliver such even if it is difficult to find).
To sum it up I think that Void Network should work their line-ups better next time. They do everything else more than fine and it is a shame loosing it where it counts the most, i.e. the music.

Dear friends,
more than 2500 people came at the Strefis Hill to share their best positive vibrations and create THE GATHERING OF THE SPACE TRIBES.
We want to thank you all!
We tried our best to give to all artists and all people the best conditions for a real rave celebration...
Unfortunately we didn't succeed it to find a way to continue the party until 9.30 in the morning as we had in plan...(We did a lot of efforts, we tried different electricity connections, we got a lot of new experience for the new conditions of electricity at the hill and we promise that this was the last time that a Void Network rave had to finish so early)
Until 6.30 everything was great but the electricity connections didn't made it to keep us dancing some hours more...
We have especialy to apologise to d.j. Crystal Zero that his mind exploding set never finished as also to d.j. Prison that his set never started...We thank all artists and cultural activists that gave their best efforts for THE GATHERING OF THE SPACE TRIBES come true
We have to try a lot, all together,all of us, without exceptions or separations to make our celebrations, our gatherings and our life better and better...
There are all around in our society a lot of psychological complexes, a lot of stupid using of addicting substances like heroin, cocaine and pills, a lot of tensions, illusions and stupid fights, a lot of lies and rumours, a lot of people that would like to see our efforts to fail...
THE PEOPLE MAKES THE PARTY...It is in our hands to make the undergound free party scene of Greece, the best scene on this planet...
It is in our hands not to be victims of anyone but to be creative spiritual friends, a social cultural phenomenon that becomes stronger and stronger by sharing, care, love,
wisdom and wonderful ecstatic collective life!
We have a lot of way to travel in the outer -space until we reach Utopia...We hope We will make this travelling all together
