I donīt have any doubt that FOR ME the Kbbb filling the whole 16th grid is the most hallucinogen base for my psytrance trips. But also is important FOR ME that the bass keep the main note as most linear as it can, avoiding the melodies (it produces a armonic feeling characteristic of the human feelings, and psychedelic trance has to be with other realities ). Itīs like the didgeridoo sound, the bass maintain the main note and the middle-high sounds play with the frequencies.
And, what if we are 15 years with the Kbbb? Is not true that the kick has been playing in 4ths notes since the begginging of all electronic-dance music? It works, why change it? And arenīt the close hit hats in 16th and snare in -2-4 slots still massively used? why donīt use if it works? of course must to be variatons and some styles donīt use it, but still it fill up most of the dance-tracks after 25 years. Honestly, I looked for alternatives and always came back to Kbbb (with some passage of variatons like Kb-b K-bb for example, but always like a rest to take the sacred Kbbb with renovated joy).
Of course, this is MY PERSONAL TASTE AND HUMBLE OPINION and I respect and admire the producers who try to innovate.
