The standard kick n bass are only norms in psychedelia thats been followed for ages: no matter who made it popular. In my honest opinion not all KBBB or KbBb or KbBB etc related tunes are psychedelic and some non Kbbb structured tunes i have heard are really psychedelic....
To KBBB or not to KBBB....
Do what ever suits you best in terms of music production.

Hey aXis - put on some ambient music for a change, or triphop, hiphop, reggae. Classical music is also nice for a change.
You cant go blame a structure for being there, when you have a choice to listen to so many different things. And there are tracks which use many different structures in a tasteful way. Even from k b k b to Triplets, to KbbbKbbb to Kbb Kbb
So much good music out there, Just celebrate it

well,the kbbb feels quite old,sure it is nice and i like it,but i also look forward to hearing new concepts and new ideas,i think we are going to both see lots of k-bbb in the future but also new stuff ( we already can hear lots of talented people creating new stuff ),people mixing notes and note lenghts and using filters,plugins etc that really changes it,but i think that stuff is very suitable for the progressive area and also to goa.Probably the kbbb is something that usually defines psytrance,like some kind of rhytms and buildstructures in beats etc defines other music styles,perhaps we are going to hear something completely new in the future,i hope so,and also the old stuff being invented again with new ideas .

No, or I'd like to think it won't. A lot of Goa tunes did not have the kbbb pattern. That is proof that trance will not always be like this and I am not saying, let all start making old school Goa tunes, I'm just saying people have done it and when they did, people did go through religious experiences on the dancefloor.
