Hello forum, So i swapped out my kick to create something with a little more oomph
Sounds like some mix-breed of Bizzare contact and Electro sun...
But i want to ask you, is this a good mix, or does it sound rather poor? Im not sure wether i like it or not, or. Well, i like it, more that what i had, because the kick is better sounding, but, i still want to know your opinions.
And how would you mix this track differently?
Feel free to discuss mixing in general

the kick and bass feel really "deeply cut"
the bass in my opinion needs more meat in the track, it needs a bit more decay (if you turned that up a hair) and then played with release to really find a fitting spot. but this is out of taste.
the kick sounds good to me. but it could be turned down just a tad, to match the bass even more.

Ok, so you guys find this kick pretty excellent, just too loud?
I have this friend who actually always want me to put house-kicks on my tracks, you might hear them in Goa, but it kills the power so intense don't you find?
Basically its sub+ a click from 1000hz. They are really empty :/
I fixed the KB Now btw! The link is updated!
It sound quite right now i think, don't you?
Also feel free to share your soundcloud stuff too if there are mixing related questions!

Powerfull kick there bro!
Only you've ended up sacrificing the bass, it's a bit weak for my taste but sometimes this sacrifices have to be made if you want one to stand out more than the other.
Maybe if the kick's tail was shorter or if you left some more room for the bass in the lower frequencies they would be more.....glued!

The kick is pretty insane, love it!
Well, Should i just cut the tail in the sampler? Or should i find a way to make the whole kickdrum faster? What do you guys think?

Remember that if you shorten its tail or pitch it up, it will need tuning again!
Try to lower its fundamental note on the eq to open room for the bass, that might help.
But mate, if its to your taste or if you think you are only making it worse by following our advice, then just leave it as it is, like Kolishin Methud mentioned this is also a matter of taste, we don't want in any way influence the way you like your sound to be heard but only to help you get the sound you want, if you havent got it already of corse!

Dont worry man!
My greatest desire is to obtain something a-la this sound
The kick on this track is a bit shorter than yours and the bass is longer than yours and they are both brighter, they are covering higher frequencies, compared to this track your knb combo is duller, and notice they are not emphasising the low frequencies as much as you are!
Have you got good monitors and are they well placed in your studio? This is very important as things will not sound as they are if you have bad acoustics!
