Hey folks, instead of focusing on making only one track i'm making multiple to get some variation.

and i sort of wonder what i gotta do to givvve this song more power

any synths?? im thinking of el-guitar in the end. souds sweet with the typical fullon basslines.

do you also have any mixing and mastering tips??

Please tell me whatever thats on your mind.
that is on topic.

you need better kick. to work better on all the mix.
besids it you don't have here much sounds. you have almost just groove, kick and bass. it's not enough. even if you had the best groove in the world it wasn't enough. you need some leads, more sound effects. add more channels into it.
besides it you need to work on all the breaks. if you had here some leads it was easier to make some interesting leads, but even with kick and bass you can make some cool things.           http://www.youtube.com/user/ChichkeMultiTech

Thank you soooooo MushAspira!
I'm glad to hear that, and yes, this sure is my style
i only want more glitching in my breaks

Chichke:
I sort of compressed my kick and eq'ed it around a bit, but i dont get that sexy truck in the kickdrum.. it might work to make a new one from scratch
and also i just EQ'ed the bassline and the plinky plonky sound to make the bass really punch through.
Its hard to EQ the guitar right though.

i have worked mostly around 3:49
and i made the bassline a bit more "trippy" At 1:26

gonna make a really psychedelic synth.. or ofc more.

and some leads&fx, thanks

decent sound for new producer, but your kick throw it away, it screwing your sound, and you break flow in trak, build more, for example u made nice groove at 2:00 , but its too short,, and you break it, and dont overuse that swoosh atmospheric sound, add more sounds also, but some decent ideas, cheerz bom

Well, so i tried to reload another kick sample, and somewhat compress it and eq'd it, i think it sounds a little better overall, but i would still want you folks to check if its s sounding better to you

if it still screws me, what am i doing wrong?

Well imho you totally need to change that kick & bass, kick is average but bass sounds terrible to me, too much cutoff and lacks in bass freqs, my advise on the bass is to give less cutoff and give a good eq & compression, just enough to fit it with a kick. Waves plugins are excelent for doing this           ProtoDrive https://soundcloud.com/protodrive

I think the bass sound is Fullon enough now.
i was sort of going for this style tho, thats why i have such high frequency in it.

but i made it more bassy by boosting the lows            http://soundcloud.com/li-fe

Can someone constructively rate the current mix for me now?
I'm working on making new synths atm for the empty parts in the middle of the song.

Thanks so much!
I bought myself a pair of the Sennheiser HD 201 headsets for making music instead of using.. Koss Portapro.. ( yeeea.. i know)

In those Koss headsets it sounded like my low frequencies were so high that the bassline clouded up and just became a normal long oomph bass sound, but in these new ones its as if someone just added a Filter envelope with that lp filter giving it that radio effect, hahaha xD

But ok.. then it seems like adding much more synths and boost the lows in the kick and the bass is whats needed. great to know that you like my work

Also, schools gonna give me a legit copy of logic pro 10.

i'm gonna get my hands on that glitch vst now bishes.
