Lani - Our Way To The Sun EP
Dear friends & partners
October sees the birth of Kairoo Records as an independent record label, with our first release: "Our Way To The Sun EP" by Lani.
Lani was started by Tim Kaelen (Phasid) & Tom Moons (Jharu) at the end of 2001. Since then the guys have been working on a unique live act to entertain all of you who like to party.
Lani is designed to perform live. Having some experience on entertaining the crowd as a DJ, they mix their own sequences instead of records, a technique they like to call "Micro-Mixing". This means they actually take their 32-track studio mixer,mpc ’s, Virus, Korg and of course their guitar with them for each performance!!
This way, they create their very own sound, but can adapt their music to the vibe of each party and the demands of the audience. Therefore a performance will be different every time, creating an exclusive atmosphere, of which you'll immediately know it's Lani.
Also, working live like this, they got the attention and trust of party organizers al around. They’ ve been lined up with Skazi and a.o. Yahel, Xerox, Psycraft, Fatali, Eskimo and Mumbo Jumbo are awaiting them.
Two tracks showcasing the ultimate full-on trance vibe of the Belgian psy-scene.
First up is the Full Moon remix of "Skycontact", a mix created specially on request from the Skazi guys for a new compilation… It's one heavy guitarstormer, that blew apart dancefloors all over Belgium in the past months. Add to this a powerfull kick, rolling basslines and a catchy trance line, and you know you've got a winner!
This is backed with "The Loss", a more melodic track that will stimulate those last early-morning dance muscles and let you float away in a trance of delight.
With this first release and their upcoming album, Lani are set to take on the world, and make it shake!

Congratulations on the release of this 12", a lot of people in belgium where waiting for this one  thank god that Hod didn't discover that it was delayed for 7 days 
I'll also confirm the blowing away dancefloors bit
When you get Lani to play at a party, make sure you chillout is big enough the first hour after their performance, people might want to catch up their breath, and check if all their limbs are still in place
