Last year Pow-Wow was amazing and the bus trip from NYC was fun too!

I am toying around with the idea of group flying from NewYork!! Leave on Friday afternoon and be all set in the magical deerfields before sunset, same way back. Target is below $150 return airfare. Asheville airport is with limited flights and costly to fly (Charlotte with 2 hr drive is really cheaper) but with bigger group and right contact I guess it can be possible!
NewYorkers, any comments. Also lets talk this weekend at Pines.

also check the greenville, and greensboro airports to work out better. there are also most likely other people coming from these areas.
i hope you all make it back, and with more followers.
thanks sahil for your support

does anyone know about how long the drive would be, coming from western Nevada? MApquest says 36 hrs. Its doable.

Id truly love to make it back east, Ive heard good things.

with the cost of gas, it would be cheaper to fly

Unless you bring a whole carload and everyone splits gas costs...

Also, make sure your car can survive a big drive like that. Anything over about 3 hours and I get nervous about my mini-van dying a horrible, sputtering death.

Whoever thinking of coming from NewYork, here is a dream trip ;-) (at least I would be really happy if I can attend a festival like this)

Friday 22nd Sept
After long week of work getting into evening flight from LGA with 40 fellow NYC trancers and in few hours world is totally different. Just before dark, I have a nice tent all set in the magical deerfields and I am all ready to rock, totally fresh and not tired (there is no 14 hr drive)
Sunday 24th Sept
NOON. Wow. Is it really over? No its not over yet atleast in our heart. Take few hour nap, pack up and take flight back to concrete jungle. Its just 10pm and I am back into my tiny little box that I called home (or apartment) and feeling comfortable in the smooth matters with box-spring to support! 9 hours of refreshing sleep and it time to get back to my job at The Slavery Incorporated.

Bottom line (lines!!!)
No need of taking a single day off from slavery.
Ohh I was dancing whole of Friday night. No driving no pain ;-)
Leaving Friday evening and coming back Sunday night!!!
Last time I spent $95 on food, drinks and smoke during back and forth road trip! This time I got small orange juice with artificial smile!!

I am talking with 3 major airlines for group booking of around 40 people. Still squeezing for the ticket cost (anybody having contact can please PM me)

My fellow trancers, How much are you guys thinking of spending for this trip?

Entry + traveling + expenses on the road etc always exceed $200 while going to GaianMind or TDC festival upstate NewYork. Reply or PM me or send email to ‘trancein@gmail.com’
