hi guys
i was wondering the other day how much does an well established psy artist make by the sale of a single cd and how many cds does a regular psy artist sell on a average.........another question was that how much do these well established artists get paid for live acts and for dj acts on a average??????........please answer my question because on the basis of the answer i shall continue my post\topic........ pLuR

a average cd costs about 12-15 dollars so out of this how much royalties does the artist get paid???.......and how much do they make from live shows and djing on average...........once again i say........iam askin this cos i want to make a point which is possible only once i have knowledge on this subject

my guess would be that an artist gets around 5-8% of one sold cd

Psyk, A Top DJ Makes US$2- 4gs for a Live set ant around US$1-2gs for a DJ set( of course that this is negociable, this is just what they would tell you they charge), plus all of his expenses paid by the promoter of the event, in case of it been in another country, Airfare Hotel, food and drinks.
I hope I have cleard at least a part of your problem.
