I've just installed XP and Cubase SX.
What can I say? I love Microsoft! The performance are up to five times better (and I don't have a top-notch comp, not at all). XP puts to good use the majority of my RAM, and SX's stability is unrivalled.
Whoever uses any Cubase 5 version, you don't know what your missing.
BTW, has anyone else experienced similar joy and relief when moving to XP/SX? |

I also have found XP much better than anything previous.
I also found nuendo (what SX is based on) to be about a zillion times better than cubase vst / logic / ANY other sequencer i have ever tried or used before (which is most of them). so good in fact that I never bothered looking at SX, but I am in no doubt that anyone still on cubase5 is seriously missing out.
