Hello there.
I want to now the number of synth that you use in a track, normaly????
And wen you produces a new track how do you do it..... you start from begining to the end or you make first the 32 bars of the peak of a music and then explan everything making the rest of a song....is just curiosity....

I think I have about 20 instances by the end of a track in the virtual rack, add there those what were bounced + hardware.
I like to start tracks with kick and bass. Then leads, percussion, pads, effects... in no particular order

Usually 16 tracks from my Virus TI + a couple of more vsti's for other sounds.
I start with Kick & bass, then add drums, then leads & usually at the end some fx.

I usually habe about 20 tracks.
When I'm producing, usually I start from kick and bass, then add everything else that will sound at the same time.
So, firstly I make a culmination of the track, where maximum sounds are playing at the same time, after that I make the arrangement by stretching all that culmination in time and removing unneeded objects))) Then add some bonus stuff (fx, brakes, automation etc...)

i guess it really depends on the music style as well...
full on or psychedelic ambient i guess 30 instances and more happens easily..
for tech house i sometimes don´t need more than 10...
progress trance in between... or so? |

i use something like this
1/2 synth for bass
4/5 lead/pad synths
2/3 fx synths
(2/3 hardware synths , probably leads or pads)
and peaple call my music "maximal" lol
