I just notice that on the paperback of "Shango" there's an add for "Reactor" saying: "Juno reactor use "Reactor" modular synthesis and sound processing by Native Instruments" and there's allso a little logo of NI there... :) Pretty strange, isn't it? I mean - you don't see adds like:"X and Y are using access virus..." |

lol.... Anyway - I'm sure they have Juno's. Can't think of any other way to make these fat basslines... Juno is actually my favorite analogue synth. Gotta get me one of these... |

uhh... Juno isn't really analog. It's working on a DCO which means Digitally Controlled Oscillator. |

I think that the DCO on the JUNO does not _necesarily_ mean that it is a digital oscillator... It is a Digitally Controlled Analogue Oscillator as far as I know. Which does make it sound different from a VCO/ Voltage Controlled Oscillator. It means it is less chaotic and therefore less phat, but it stays in tune better and has a distinctive sound. It is also a fine complement to a couple VCO analogue synths... you need the crunchy with the smoothy ;) |

It it's DCO, it's digital. Doesn't have to play samples (rompler) like most digital synths do. Best examples are VA's, it's digital but still makes analog like sounds. Same with DCO (although I can't find the difference between DCO and a VA synth).
Do you have a numpad on that Juno? I reset my CS1x by turning it on with 7+8+9 held. |
