yes, good point you reminded me.
also,
electric guitar overdriven playing accords is the easy solution to cover much bandwidth in all musics but not suitable for this one as it destroys the rest sounds and harming the final result.
sound engineering wasn t good enough for such an event besides having a very good soundsystem. -_-_-_-_-_-_

Juno was phenomenal in terms of their performance....
I think most people would underestimate how difficult it is to play this kind of music...
Pistolero,Gog is God and Conga fury were the highlights for me
Unfortunanetly the sound was bad and the whole organisation was as if we were a pack of cows... Had the sound been better I wouldn't have had a problem really. And maybe if the played there more trancy stuff like Navaras,Nitrogen,Mars,....
I think the problem was that most people were expecting something different...
Old school goa fans wanted a goa vibe
Club trancers were hoping for some DAPA DUPA
ALL IN ALL... once more... good performance bad org.....
Wasn't the Japanese quitar/violin player pissed off??? I mean both times they went out of the stage she was acting a bit wierd and generaly I flet some bitterness from the group and the Juno crew.... probably because of a not so hot reaction from the crowd.
Please comment on this matter, it's been confusing me a bit

I think that juno did a good job by performing in a place with terrible acoustics. Furthermore, the sound engineering was terrible, leaving all synth parts muddy and barely audible.
This basically means that we heard 1/3 of the music, so, it could be much worse if juno had decided to just do what they have to and get the hell outta there. They provided a more acoustic version of their performance and kept the people inside the place.
Seriously, this kind of treatment towards people is unacceptable. I mean, whatever their next move, art uber alles should try really really hard to gain trust from the people. 40 euros for this sound, and place ? Think again next time...

PLACE
nice place for a party but totally non effective ventilation!you could hardly breathe!
SOUND
i don't know how it was in the back side of the
warehouse but in the 5 fornt meters that i was,the sound was perfect!the bass, maybe, was too loud.
VIBE
the vibe in the area that i have been, was amazing!everybody laughing, and generally positive vibes!lots of people dancing, too!
MUSIC
well lets see:
1)zen garden
never heard of them before and i must admit that i was amazed!perfect songs, with energy, emotion, and an artistic touch!they should have played before juno.if there is a cd by them i will definitely buy it!their music was mindblowing, honestly!
nice show,as well!
2)direct connection
nice music,i have listened to their cd,dub infection.darkish stuff,dubbish,with attitude.nice.
3)zen lemonade
respect to gus till, for the important contribution to the scene (flying rhino era)
but this music was incorrect(i almost slept, the vibe was all gone) as far as the the time spot is concerned, and as music itself nothing special imho.
4)juno reactor
firstlyi knew form the beggining that nothing goatic or psychedelic was to be played.
the music they played was great, especially the moments with song for ancestors,Tokyo Dub(amaning bass),Conquistador 1+2,god is god(don't like it in the cd version but in the live was mindblowing),pistolero.
i hoped that they would play nitrogen part 1.
amazing show!
the tribal experience was something to be remembered for a long time
that's all i guess! |

Well...at long last we saw Juno in Greece. For me they were great,it was a show from Juno and that is what i expected from them.I had a great time and couldn't take my eyes from them. The music they play was great.I can't understand why so many people were waiting and thinking that it was a party.I think that some people went, expected that they will "eat"there stuff and waiting to hear "kailes" to burn themselves once more.It wasn't a Psy party people....I couldn't stand hearing some people beside me saying "ante re malaka skase" refering to the "native" musician(don't know the names)who was making all the great vocals and playing whith...timpana and the other instruments.Man...what can i say....You didn't know what you went to hear and see....Some respect.....For all of you,you don't know what you are going to hear in a live,in a show, please next time make an attempt and at least before you go,learn what are you going to watch....For sure, for those who knows to respect and recognise some values in music,JUNO WERE GREAT and we will all have this live in our hearts and minds....Thnx and sorry for my english

To my opinion - no matter how good a band may be - if the sound is shit, then the concert is ruined... too bad |

Sound was indeed shitty and Zen Lemonade should open the whole party, not play before Juno and take the energy out from most people!I really can't still believe that they played the hypnotic music they played,pitty..respect though, cause it's the organisers to blame for putting them to play at that time!
As for Juno, they played nice tribal music but everyone expected to be a dancing experience and not just a chilling theatrical show, except few good old ones!
Maybe because of the sound we could't get in the mood...
Zen Garden unfortunately i din't have the chance tolisten to them as i arrived after they had finished, but i generaly heard nice comments about them!
Last but not least,Direct Connection played reeaaaally good stuff, they were actually the only ones who created a party atmosphere!
I can say they were the big surprise of the party!!
Next time that someone puts an admission sooo high(40E)please think well about it and be much much better prepared(speaking of sound)
because we're fed up to attend shitty concerts in Greece!
We deserve better treatment, better prices and next time there'll be eggs thrown!!(and i'm talking about any type of organisers)!
As someone said in this forum:it was indeed the 'arpahti' of the year! |

The only reason I attented the show was Juno Reactor...
I think that they had a good perfonmance (they could have a much more better one) but the sound blew it all... it was exceptionable for this kind of concert that the sound was awful...
What a pitty !!!
