this has probably been asked more than once, but what can be done about the noise some 106's make? i've got one that hasn't been used in some years, it crackles and pops, and the chorus has some flanging noise. is there any hardware/software solutions available to get rid of the noise so i can record?
i don't like this thing collecting dust but with the noise it's unusable thx! |

I dont know about the cracking and pops, but that is definately something defective...
about the noisy chorus, all the juno have that issue...I had 2 juno-6 in the past, and both of them had the noisy chorus....a friend of mine had a 106, and it did the same thing also...

Maybe take it to a service center? they can maybe check it out and repair. Try to contact Roland.

Be very careful when spraying fluids inside a synth, if you really must atleast open the juno up. Atleast that's what my techies say. |
