a jungle is a place with alot of tree's , plants ' mushrooms and water - A.K.A "a good location for nature parties" :)
Jungle, i don't know the exact definition but it sure kicks!
i think the prodigy have some awesome jungle tracks.
and violet vision too :) |

Mental - we are not arguing, just discussing.
Heidi - as for me, Liam Hawlett's style rocks. To define it as " just breakbeat" very hard:) Sure, it is breakbeat but actually it is a mix of break beats and acid/rave of '90th. Liam got very high influence from that times when acid and acid-house were born. But before that he used to listen to soul and other twisted stuff :)
But his first album "Expirience" can be easily ranked among jungle stylee.
And in general, wi can say that jungle and chemical beats and pops and some techno and even goa and psy have break beats, aren't thay?

oh man i'm just starting regret i've posted it. :)
i just wanted to say that the first prodigy album is not jungle. and yes u can also say it's kind of rave, don't forget it was the time when there were not so much genres in the electronic music and the line between them was not so hard, but- i think it's mainly breakbeat. (and i didn't said "just").
there r few (really few) trance tracks WITH breaks - so what? |

Just let's finish with it, The Prodigy is a very very very good band ant that's it :)

Jericho is more jungle than breakbit.
I never heard of jungle in trance... that should be interesting, though I don't think it really goes hand in hand.
By the way, you should listen to the first israelian (I think), it's pure drum & bass... Really good. And there's very little difference between drum & bass and jungle. Most people even get mixed up. |

i couldn't NOT notice the typo here, the dude wrote ANT with a T instead of D , the D key is quite far away from the T key, any gueses why maxim did this typo? :) i sure have an idea...
the prodigy's symbol is an ant, now maxim loves the prodigy very much and the way he expresed it we can see how much, therefor he wrote ANT instead of AND. ANT - a word wich relates to the prodigy :)
