Colorado has a large, active burner contingent, and Apogaea is a fun event, the attendance last year was around 500 people. It's held in the high country, at a remote mountain ranch about 45 minutes from Colorado Springs.

Onetribe will be setting up our sound system there (Synapse Village @ Burning Man last year), probably one of the two main stages and it'll be at least 75% psytrance, with a sprinkling of breaks and techno. So if you're in the area and would like to attend, get in touch - I can provide more details on what's going down.

We're working on bringing a live act to Apogaea. It's difficult since we are unable to pay for the performance (it being a Burning Man event, everything is on gifting basis), and have very limited funds available for transportation. But it looks like we'll have an artist coming, and of course, a kick-ass local lineup. Should be a great time..

power to the people!!!

I'm coming home to Colorado and doin’ it in style after working for awhile...

Can hear the sound of jagged – pounding sounds of psy

Smell the fresh mountain air, feel the burn'n vibes, find the hidden farm, and let go with the greatest group of mountain folks I know,

Here ya have it, are all the ingredients ya need for a splendid good time.

Apogia, green'z comin' home, hiiiihaaaaaaaa

MINDFLUX - A continuing flow of the human consciousness that originates in the brain and is manifested especially through thought, perception, emotion, will, memory, and imagination.

jah, colorado burner folks are wild and crazy, imo more so than any other regional community i've had the pleasure of partying with. the community is very tight even though it's grown by leaps and bounds over the last 7-8 years. apogaea is in its 6th (or 7th?) year, and the 500 tickets will undoubtedly sell out, as they did last year. so if you want to come check out the madness and mayhem, better git on it.

Well, how did it go? There are three different parties I'd have liked to have attended that weekend - I too chose to be in Colorado, but it was a small, special forest event for close friends.

it was a blast - we had over 700 people there this year. On Friday Psylens played a classic psy set to the packed Pink Pussy Palace in the upper valley, and on Saturday night the lower valley where the large sound systems were located was all lit up with art cars, lasers, and amazing blacklight art. It looked just like the playa, only felt more close-knit, family style..

The music kicked ass - James Deeper in Zen played some super-funky, powerful, very danceable psy. Mukti and Kriya ripped it up dark style, I played some tweaky goa as the sun came up, and BuddhBomb rode into daytime with an eclectic set. Ronin and Micromusic played killer live psy-tech sets on the live PA stage as well.

pics are coming...

Watch out for next event at the Happy Ass Ranch - Earthdance in September.. we'll have some very psychedelic headliners, should be a kick-ass party.

....indeed, it was a great festival!!! A reunion of sorts...our brother DjGreen was back in town, and laid down a three hour world/chill set on Fri. afternoon! Deeper in Zen tore it up! Connections and warm vibes throughout!
...ahhh, Earthdance...lots of suprises in store!           "Any act, if in accordance with the Will, is an act of Magick."
