Sorry, I didn't post it here since the thread had been buried for awhile anyway; I figured the party could die with the thread.
In any case, the organizer let me know that they had to cancel the gathering due to lack of inspiration, or something along those lines.
/ :
It's a real shame, as we had an excellent DJ lineup, and about 200 people who had already confirmed their RSVP.
