Recommended!

Another wonderful release from Hidden Shoal Recordings.

Released this year.

On the press release it says: "Europa transforms Dürbeck’s personal memories of 11 different European locations into a gorgeous suite of minimal ambient electronica."

And it is indeed gorgeous.

Info, samples and purchase:

Enjoy

Thanks a lot Gad for alerting me to this. I've already listened to it three times today and liked more and more each time. Beautiful music. That Edinburgh track has lovely vocals in it too (though I haven't listened actively to the words, only passively to the sounds).

Am defnitely gonna buy this from the bandcamp site.

Btw, my 7fingers arrived yesterday. It is indeed great too. This fits nicely next to it I think.

My pleasure Schofield

Also, don't miss 'Under The Sodium Lights' by Slow Dancing Society. Also released this year on Hidden Shoal Recordings.

Great you got your 7 fingers ( what a weird thing to say ). It is such an amazing album. Don't be shy, write your thoughts about it here

I still haven't bought this yet, but I will. I have listened to it heaps on bandcamp though, and really love it.

One of my favourite releases from 2010. (which means that I really should buy it post haste).

Quiet interesting. Somehow I am turning more into this kind of non-psychill music, well everything changes

Yeah I'm turning more to this sort of stuff as well these days. Still enjoying the psychill stuff as well, but broadening my other horizons.

It makes for fun times when you start including all sorts of different styles of music in a set, from classical, field recordings, drone, and then lo-fi electronica, idm and all the way back to your more traditional psychill sounds. Geez i love music!

Yeah, will maybe do a mixed set on the weekend, which might drift somewhere. Thanks for inspiration and sorry for offtopic.
