its doubtful that the fire will affect the outcome of this event.
we have a couple options for locations......still deciding which one is best
would have been cool to have Mubali, Ghreg, and La! it would have been a complete Cali psy lineup..... but nonetheless we will still get our souls filled with psychedelic music
added to the lineup for sun-time: SUBOCAJ (psycircle)

okay everyone there's a BIG SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT here!!!!
The location of the party has been changed to a SOUTHERN california forest... somewhere near LA... as in around 90 minutes from LA, 6 hours from SF.
it's a great spot BUT there's one catch which is everyone must try as hard as possible to get there BEFORE TEN PM!!! by stagnating traffic after this hour we should be able to have a nice, peaceful party.
Location information and directions will be announced 24 hours before the event.
Subocaj is for shizzle added to the lineup.
La and Mubali are away, but I will play tracks I made with the both of them
I hope this doesn't disrupt peoples plans too much- hopefully it should make it easier for LA folks and SF folks to party together in love and harmony
BUT everyone must attempt to get to the location before ten pm! There will be special directions for those who cannot make it til after ten.
Boooooooooom...
pm or e-mail me with q's drxex@mac.com |

Southern California 90 minutes from Los Angeles? Be there by 10 PM? IS it OK to come while it is still light out? Dusk and dawn are two friends of mine that go way back.
Anyways, put me down for this unexpected nearer to me gathering. Ah yes, a little psytrance for our listening and dancing pleasure!
North of San Fransisco was too far for me this time, but now I can be back home around noon or 1 PM Sunday. Hi Andrew! Hopefully I'll be there when you play some playful groove for the daytime.
Birthdays are one of my favorite celebrations to have. Such a deal how things can be at times. Not necessarily synchronicity or coincidence, but I'm still tripping on it. I'll just have to not ponder the inner workings of the universe too much.

Hey I will be driving from LA and I need at least 2 people to join me. I don't think I could afford the gas bill or endure the long drive by myself. So first come first serve will dictate the seating arrangement. do i hear anyone calling shot gun? |

I am planning on driving my truck as I need to be back in Santa Ana no later than 1:30 PM on Sunday. Assuming it is OK to arrive while the sun is still out I'll leave here around 4 or 5 PM Saturday, maybe earlier depending on the gathering's final location so that I can get there with an hour or two of daylight and dusk left. I might be able to take someone up there, but coming back with me will depend on things with me needing to watch the time while getting to hear and dance to the music as much as I can and on where I'd have to go to drop someone off on the return trip. A one way ride is better than nothing. Damn gas is getting out of hand. Least ways it has stopped going up for the time being. I'll do my part to be there before 10 PM. One less thing for the organizer to worry about. Interesting concern, but perhaps it has to do with others in the public using adjacent land and facilities and he's worried about a lot of late arrivals attracting undue attention at the wee hours of the night or disturbing the peace waking up the kids and having the rangers wanting to know what all the commotion is about. This would help explain the need for an alternative route for late arrivals or even a gate closing after 10 PM could force it. Fire season changes a lot of forest land park rules and gates.
