The new Andromeda album is one of my favorite releases of 2005. I will be here for sure! Excited for the downtempo stage as well. Matte totally rocked it this past weekend in Portland as Nystagmus; I'm sure his Anahata set won't disappoint  |

"For the first time in the West Coast of Canada we are pleased to announce Andromeda, Chromosome and Soul Surfer Live – the projects of of one of the leading artist in the international psy trance scene, Anders Nilsson.
Anders Nilsson studied media, recording and editing, and works as a sound engineer. Originating from Sweden, the mecca of high quality psy music and home to such giants as Logic Bomb, Hux Flux, Vibraspehere, and Ticon, Anders took the international psy trance world by storm last year. His first album as Andromeda, Temptations (released by the label Yellow Sunshine Explosion and in collaboration with Nikos Kostoglou), was called “the biggest surpise of the year” by Isratrance reviews. He followed it up with two more albums, Andromeda Remixes and his highly anticipated new release, Sensations.
As Chromosome Anders has also released an album entitled The Genome Project. "The Genome Project is highly energetic, groovy, and atmospheric, and is an incredible uplifting journey", according to Psy Reviews.
Anders’s thrid project Soul Surfer has been described as very atmospheric, groovy and emotional. Soul Surfer tracks range from down tempo to full on dance floor stormers. The very essence in Soul Surfer is an attempt to make a quadralogy of the 4 elements, starting with the first album, Surfers Paradise, representing the liquid state of water. The next album, to be released soon, will represent the Earth and will depart from the previous album’s moods soaked with sounds of water, surfing, and beaches, to take you on a down beat journey."

I wanna see Andromeda in person. I'm jealous. I loved their 2 albums. So soothing and beautiful. Someone bring them to NY.
