cool track, when i saw it was 128bpm i thought it was going to be too slow for my taste, but you have a good beat going there and some cool synths going, i caqnt really comment on the mix as im listening in headphones, but it sounds pretty good. are you going to repost when you have made the break?? il come back and listen. |

good start for a track. well mixed. nice groove. however the distorted 303 from 3:19 totally spoils the track for me. does not really fit the track imho? its not the sound but the melody thats played, maybe taste only.. i would go for a more percussion/chord/stab orientated break and story with this tempo and groove, but thats just me ;-)

About the intro: nice sounds, but I think you should work more on the tempo of how they filter up, because it is kind of imprecise.
Nice percussion work, but it could have been really awesome with a more intricate and evolving pattern.
The synths are not so much interesting, but ok and pleasant overall, especially the sound popping in at about 2.20.
I also don't like when the bass changes note.
The 303 in my opinion is ok.

to me kick and that cut percussion sample are too prominent. the rhythm is important, but it doesn't have to overwhelm the music.
bass notes are a bit short to my taste, the open hi hat could be a little bit brighter and have more attack (try to put some trasient shaper but just a little + a touch of eq, like 1 db around 10 kHz, if that doesnt work than i would change the sample)
in the into i didn't like the kick, kills the atmosphere, especially that loud.
keep up the good work, man. would be interesting to listen to the finished track.
