Joujouka are Dj Tsuyoshi, Dj Funky gong & Mitsumoto.
after 2 amazing albums (Joujouka, New asians) and a third one on the way (Are you elovetric?) they released in April/03 a double cd of a recorded live show that was performed in Japan last year.
by saying "live", Joujouka is one of the few acts that truly means live.
their live show includes singers, guitars, drums, bongos... just name the insrument, and its there 
the 1st cd is more free style, techoish... even gets to rock and if u`ll get deep enough u`ll catch some heavy metal
one hour of pure Japanese craziness, a real live jam that`ll give you a great rush, a strong psychedelic journy and a clue of what joujouka`s "prgressivness" is all about.
the 2nd cd is more trance (4X4) oriented.
starts off with the ultimate free style tune " Joujouka" followed by few massive proggy tunes from early releases.
by the time it got to half of "Re psycle frequency" i just couldnt help myself, i got up... and started to dance alone in the dark 
hearing "the rigth stuff" performed live just made my day
the 2nd one will give you a short trip thru the updated trance sound of joujouka alnogside to some d`n`b and jungle tunes that flows thru great funk and groove.
btw: Joujouka`s live show is not like the regular live shows we know...
its more like a concert, its built like a set... but with pause between the tracks.
all in all... A DAMN GOOD ONE!!!
this guy just makes me think with his music, make me smail, makes me dance and gives me a different rush every time.
again... very recommended!!!
