Psychoil what do you mean when you say that always some artists are canceled?I dont know what other promoters or booking agents do but in the parties that i am involved extremely rarely something like that happens,i already gave a nice example of the Trance Alliance era where in around 30 events with more than 80 artists only once an artist didnt appear at the event.If once over 80 is always then ok i need to improve my english.
And by the way if the organisers made enough money i dont think that they would stop making more events,its not always about money you see.In any case just for your information i will spend the millions of euros that i made out of these two events as a booking agent in Miami LOL

Dinos whats your problem?One of your friends whos name i dont want to reveal in public called me before the party and asked me very gently if i could put you and one more person on the guest list,i did that and put your name on the guest list plus 1 more person just because your friend is also my friend,i gave the whole guest list to the organiser and just that,nothing more nothing less,i dont know you,i dont care to know you,i have never been or invited by you to any of your events or events that you played music and to be honest with you i dont like your attitude at all.And by the way how exactly did i make you to pay 50 euros for you and your friend?And how the heck is it possible for me to know your girlfriend when i dont even know you?I mean have i seen you more than 2-3 times in my life?And by the way since you speak about 'organisers' being out of the party place all the time and because i know that in these people you also include myself i have to say to you that i stayed out of the party most of the time just like i did in the first party with Altom and Electric Universe and just like i did at Natural High party with Wizzy Noise and just like i am doing with every party for the last 2 years at least because i get tired fast when being in a closed small place like a club for example.In any case please be very careful when you include my name in your words especially when reffering ironically to me with expressions like 'in the old parties where no detox was there' cause i really dont like my name in your mouth especially with that lousy english of yours.

I' ll just do the maths for you.
-Flight (duration) from Brazil to London 11.30 hours

Time to board in and board out of the airplane aprox. 1.30 hours x 2 (flights) = 3.00 hours
Since the flight wasn't direct from Brazil to Athens (and there isn't such to Greece) you have to wait let's say 1.00 hour in an airport in London to do the transfer between the flights. (Lets just assume this minimum number since most of us know - the ones that have traveled with transfers - that you have to wait much more than that.
So we add (simple mathematics) 11.30 + 3.45 + 3.00 + 1.00 = 19.15 hours. [b]

Now about the prices. 350 (people) x 25 Euro = [b] 8750 Euro
Joti's fee for dj set (no more) than 3000 Euro
Joti's flight with return (from London - since England is were he lives) : no more than 2000 euro. 
Resident's payment : no more than 200 euro
*Let's Add: 3000 Euro + 2000 Euro + 200 Euro = 5200 Euro
*And now Subtract from the tickets income: 8750 Euro - 5200 Euro = 3550 Euro profit (without reductions from club)

About the club
You club's tarif : no more than 5 Euro per ticket, that gives 350 (people) x 5 Euro = 1750 Euro
+ drinks and beers at the price of 10 Euros ! + water price 5 Euro!
We will ignore the club's income from the bar (drinks + beers), let's just concentrate on the tickets.
3550 Euro (profit from tickets) - 1750 Euro (club's tarif) = 1800 profit Euro which is a lot for a small event

A note: It is up to the club owner and the organisers, to reach an agreement on whether there is going to be an amount (from the tickets) given to the club, or not. In most cases all profit from the bar go to the club and little money from the tickets is paid to the club owner.

Can someone tell us whether there was a price reduction on water as was promised by the promoter
And now I have two questions:
What kind of person travels 19,30 hours by plane to come and play in an event, without having a rest?
Shouldn't there be a price reduction on the ticket, since the artist was not going to appear?

Ok here we go again...
Delight if you would read my previous messages more carefully you would notice that i knew about Dimitri's problem to reach Europe since Thursday night and like we both aggreed he would try his best and i could only find out whether he makes it or not on Saturday.On Saturday i was on the streets since early morning to fix some of my own business and go and pick up Joti and go to do various other things which meant i wouldnt visit my home on that day.I tried to reach Dimitri on phone many times on Saturday to hear news from him but his phone was switched off all day and i even thought he was in a plane or something and that he would contact me on my phone when it was possible for him.He didnt contact me like you can realise and i checked his mail very late.
This is all concerning Dimitri's story.
Now concerning the numbers that you presented in public....
Well you dont know how many tickets were counted in the event.You just guess that.
You dont know for sure how much Joti was payed in this event and its non of your business actually.You also guess that.
You obviously dont know how much a flight ticket from UK to Greece costs otherwise you wouldnt mention the ridiculus price of 2000 euro for a ticket from London.You also forgot by the way to mention the already paid tickets of Dimitri from London to Athens and from Athens to Barcelona and from there to Ibiza.
You dont know how much money the residents received or if they received any money at all.You guess that also.
You also are not in position to know the percentage that You Club gets from the ticket which is way different from the one that you mentioned.Another guess.
You also dont know the price of water and drinks in the event since you werent there but you still mention them ofcourse.
And last but not least you obviously havent ever organised an event on your own otherwise you would know that clubs dont just 'get all profit from the bar and just little money from the tickets'.
Oh not to mention that you tottally ignore the cost of designing,printing and distributing flyers and posters,the cost of extra soundsystem,decoration and laser expenses,personel wages for extra security and check points in places like the ticket counters for example,you forgot the expenses for the accomodation and transportation for the artist,oh and last but not least you forget about the taxes imposed on a ticket which just for your info is something around 22% on the original price of the ticket...
TO SUM IT UP YOU JUST DONT KNOW NOTHING SO SIT ON YOUR CHAIR AND WATCH SOME TV INSTEAD OF COMMENTING ON THINGS THAT YOU IGNORE AND CALCULATING FICTION MATHEMATICS IN PUBLIC!

If you knew that he was not going to come why you didn't reduce the ticket.
About the numbers what are you afraid? Someone's not feeling the ground under his feet.
Listen mate i don't care what you did and if you manage to attract the people you wanted, the ticket price should go down and this is a fact.

First you can not reduse a price because its not up to you it is an agreement the club owner makes/ usually he takes half of the ticket money ,if you are a really good friend of him maeby you get 60/40 / from what i see you know your math i would say with your adding
JOTI took 8000 for set /
the tikets 1st class 2500/
hotel the hilton 2 nights . 500/
food caviar and champhane 200/
the club owner gave the promoters 10 cents of the tikets\
ADDING the lost promotors 5000 from there pockets/
NEXT event astrix and infected i will sell my house to support it thanks |

my friend my dignity and karma is something you will never reach and you should not talk that way// i dont know detox/ and in both kaifas and joti i payed the fee/ i know it is not nice when people expect what they pay for // but suppose you are detox and someone tells bring me to dj names . and for this fayvor you post and help promote the party and after the organizers steel all the money / what should the people do kill you for bringing the djs/but in the end you get blamed i would say thats wrong /in a court of law they say if you have evidence prove it/thats why its not to judge for helping the promotors when you book the dj //// and as you said my dignity i have my head clean ...i did some event ,,i gave the people joy and in return when i was joking to some friens i stoped they all stabed me in the buck and started saying lyes about me to show off / but thing change / iv said i stop doing club events // who knows what iv been doing in mystic forest private events/ they lost not me// delite when something bothers you /you should take it up in the club with the promotors after its finished . |
