hello children of the lands of why not,
i am 21 years old and this year i'll be graduating from university and FINALLY i'll get rid of a course that i really hate. what i learnt from university is that even if you have the best pay in the world, you will never be happy if you hate what you do for a living. so this year i'm going to start building what i hopefully would love to do for a living in the future.
i am into art and decorations for psyparties. i also love painting on clothes and making clothes too. i'm from Malta, a small island only 316 km2 with a population of 400,000 and the psy scene is VERY limited, just 30 maybe 40 persons max. we only have very small parties, sometimes illegal. the organisers never invest in commissioning decorations and we don't have festivals and big events. somtimes i take the initiative and make some decor myself, until i realised that this is what i want to do.
for this reason i'm asking you for advice on how to make part of decor teams. do they usually offer internships or apprenticeships or some kind of training ? i'm obviously planning on leaving the island...
