Hi all,
I was experimenting around with the melody from JMJ Oxygene 8 and made this low-fi downtempo remix out of it, cause I think the contrast with the shiney melody sounds kinda cool. Its only 70 BPM and the beats are all out of sync, so I called it the Sizzurp remix, hehehe

As I have nothing to do on vacation except snowboarding and making music, heres another track I just finished. Its in the same style as the one above, except without the cheesy over-the-top melody. Since I have 10 more days of vacation I`m gonna keep posting them here as I churn them out in my music factory, hehehe

i listened to this second trak here,,, solid sound dood... intro got that epicness sound(killer reverb work)... are those clicking-like sounds produced by you? if so, could share some ideas on where to begin to achieve that?
i really like the way you used that low freq sound playing with the kik.. dont you want to play with more perc patterns? once again, i gotta say your atmos work is really kool... keep it up man.. re-arrange what you thought was real

Thanks! I tried to introduce new percussion, but I didn`t come up with anything I liked in the context of thetrack. I like it that empty.
About the clicking sounds, there is a reallyy awesome site called www.freesound.org . They have all kinds of noises there to download, and I contructed the rhythmic clicking out of all kinds of noises and different effects and reverbs. Its actually really easy to come up with something cool this way. In this particular track I think there is a galloping horse, a book falling down, Vynil crackle and a lot other stuff, in total over 20 different sample sources. Check it out, its fun!

Thanks guys!
I think I`ll explore this style a bit further, its a lot of fun to create. I`m gonna let these tracks sit on thge shelf for a few weeks, and then I`ll give them a do-over with fresh ears. I`ll post them here when I`M done Check out my album: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/gay-satanic-hippie-tiefenrausch

At first i was like, wtf is this but then i had to write something else i was doing and had to keep listening while i was doing it. So the more i heard it kinda grewed on me and i started to like it, it sounded kinda broken and random somehow but after a while it all made sense. All 3 tracks are special and great! My fav is the 3rd one!
im only listening with my laptop here but i gonna check them all on my monitors laters.

Wow! Thanks!
@Wizack: Thats some awesome feedback, especially from someone who really knows what he`s talking about like you. I`m glad you kept listening after you didnt like it at first, hehe...anyways I`m still interested to hear your feedback after a proper "monitor listening".
@jeebomba: Thanks, that guitar took a long time to get just right like that...
