i have just read your comments on fl 3.3. i think u was wrong when saying that fruity is not capable of making full-on tracks and gms alike. i think that fruity is the perfect tool for making music and i cant change her. i must admit that the sound quality of it is not so good... but with a good mastering u can fix anything...
if u want to know what i am talking about u r invited to hear my fruity made track. it is not a minimal trance, it's a psychomelodic one... check it please and then tell me if fruity is good enough for it or not... |

Hey Alo - I CANT AGREE WITH YOU MORE. Although I didn't download your trax, I can assure you that those who think / say Fruity sucks are those who are addicted to Cubase, I am using Floops for 3 years and that 3.3 version is amazing. from the reviews I read it looks like you are making good music - keep it up. |

I used fruityloops for 2 years since version 1.6 or something.
made ONLY full-on tracks - even the track that won on the psynews.org contest was made with fruityloops.
it's a great program - although - I switched to Logic.
Fruity has its flaws, but whoever doesn't care about the flaws - Fruity is great for him.
of course you lack the EQ on every audio channel, waves lose their volumes, pattern length is constant for the whole track and more... but u can make lot's of with these limitations.

Hey alo, do you make the bassline in fruity too? how can you make it strong enough to move a dance floor using only fruity?

karp, all the track was made by fruity includung the bassline. i made the bassline thick and powerfeull by adding it plug-ins like fruity bass boost and several eq. |

Pattern length is not constent - by using the piano roll you can determine the length by yourself, Waves lose their volumes??? amplify it back! its not hard to manipulate fruity, and philip , from 2 years of playing with it, you should know that.
peace. |

That piano roll just got in with ver 3...
so I was out by then :) But hey, fruity is not all about the piano roll - so it's still hard manipulating.
and about the volumes, it's a pain to set everything to 125% or whatever it is just to MAYBE be sure it's the right volume
it can be checked though... |

Hey.. Fruity is ok, But Im sorry it cannot make like GMS, Hallucinogen etc.. because of the sounds, I still prefer hardware of sounds Nothing beats it.. sounds get so much richer in quality and depth to a track... Stuff is being made on fruity but more of the minimal/progressive sound... I have yet not heard a pro track on Fruity such as GMS, Hallucinogen, etc... |
