During the night of May 19th to 20th at 1am GMT+1, we are proud to welcome HYDRAGLYPH!!

Its for the occasion of the release of "Dexterity In Motion" compiled by Corona on Sanskara Records.

Corona was formed in Dec 2002, by Brendon Rod and Magnus Claussen from Cape Town, South Africa.
Both have been producing electronic music for the past 4 years. Currently they have 4 releases. Their first on Nano's Origin and one on Sanskara Records' debut, Urantia Rising and now Adapted Vision.
Their style can be defined as groovy, pumping and uplifting in a nutshell. How ever they can and do produce more progressive if need be and have also been writing some experimental ambient house breaks . Also look out for up n coming Electric Spinach.
They have played alongside top international artists such as Eskimo, Sun Project, AMD and Aphid Moon and have become a common site on all the main stages of South Africas top trance parties over the last few years.
Their influences are diverse, coming from all genres of music, but primarily electronic.

"Dexterity In Motion" compiled by Corona

Tracklist:

1. Metcalfe / Chameleon

2. Ecliptic / Trust In Dance

3. Corona / Sonic Architecture

4. M Theory / Batang

5. Hydraglyph / Atom Kinder

6. Corona / Black Sirius

7. Hydraglyph Feat June Rashava / Ultrasound

8. Headroom / Se Pie In The Sky

9. Artifakt / Up Down

On the menu of this edition of Jet Lag is an interview with
Andrew Morgan followed with Hydraglyph LIVE ACT!!

Here is the bio of the formation:

Hydraglyph are Andrew Morgan and Mark Ackermann, a.k.a. Tundra and Link. Formed in late 2000, they quickly grabbed attention by being simultaneously released under the Nano and Timecode Labels and have since then been thumpin' dancefloors all around South Africa. Having been friends since their early teens and both being enthusiastic producers (a rare breed in small town such as Somerset West) it was only a matter of time until they joined forces and integrated their styles.

Penning their first collaborative efforts under the guise of Twisted Globe, they undertook many a sleepless night in the quest for their perfect sound, all the while working on what became affectionately known as their "studio tan". Quickly realizing how bad their first demo was, they changed their name (and their creative process), and so Hydraglyph was born.

Their first major break was thanks to South African party syndicate, Freerange, who are well known for their outstanding decor and scouting out unknown talent in the Cape Town area. Since then Hydraglyph haven't looked back and have rocked dancefloors locally and internationally with the likes of Protoculture, Broken Toy, Paranormal Attack, Eskimo, Absolum, Kox Box, Deviant Species, Damage and Hydrophonic.

The two have been involved in music since 1995, starting out in local rock bands then moving onto E-jay in 1998, Fruity Loops 1999, Reason 2001 and finally Cubase in 2002.

Combining the best elements of full on psy and feel good progressive, the duo offer a more dynamic spectrum of music. After a year long hiatus to explore solo projects, they have now reformed, pioneering a new sound that's guaranteed to get them laid...hopefully.
