that is no respect for the hindu faith....those gods and symbols are very important to alot of people in India and Mongolia and you just sort of say , oh its nothing and its okay to use them because they just provide good atmosphere.....
|
|
I believe that ppl are free to do what ever they want and use what ever they need as long as nobody got hart.
So we all free to use Hindu things in our way. That it not like we do it in front fo religious ppl on India. We don't use it in disrespectable way

I also think all this pseydo hippie Indian clichés at parties are annoying.. And indeed not at all nessesary. As everything else in our scene it's becomed a fashion cliché for the "cool" and "in" so they can feel they belong to a group of "cool" and "in" people that are so elitist that it sometimes get sickening... But hey thats just me and my opinion.
But why at all religion at parties? I got no problem with what religion people practise and how religious they are. But keep your religion to yourself please.
When I go to a party I do not want your religion forced down on me. Heck I dont even want your religion forced down on me in this forum or in real life. I believe religion is a private matter and that it should stay that way.
It's not a hard thing to make very VERY nice deco and visuals that got nothing to do with religion. And believe me. It's ten times more trippy anyway!
So keep your religion and indeed new age faith to yourself no matter if you are a hippy hindu worshipper, a christian evangelist, a pagan believer, an orthoodox, a jew, a budhist.
Trance is NOT about religion! It's about dancing!

once again i don't want to read all the post in this topic (isratrance is so awfull to read by is awfull design!
but i can see the same thing in every post i read, and it's not trance spirit to think that kind of stuff!
one french guy said that he doesn't want to see someone pray in party, what a non respect! what happen to trance values?
in fact again some people say we can't make links betwen religion and trance music!
but wake up or go out of this mouvement cause:
trance is religious by his own begening!
yes, the first religion was invented by shamanic people who discover a way of being "in trance" to speak to the spirits!
in fact all the religion are involved in trance, forget about make them go away!
if you're in trance mouvement you're already in religion way of life! if you like extatique moment, that make you like the vision of something else, something absolut in universe!
so trance and religion are the same thing!
but don't worry you people who doesn't want to see God, you won't see him if you don't want to see him!
but you must accept that some people are not doing the same thing than you! or go back and live alone!
Peace, love, unity and respect! |

in fact, this is much better when i don't read, cause when i do, i really scared of what people said, a lot of bull shit, based on anything real (like the non exsitence of jesus, hahaha).
but that's the way of jesus brothers, it makes our faith in difficulty, but if we can go up to this kind of words, our faith will be stronger!
so continue you people who like to hit jesus, you make us stronger and better, and you can have a good time with it!
such of bull shit, anyway, that's the way! |

I'm an agnostic person and I don't really think that religious representations will change anything for me (meaning : will make me believe in God or not).. So as long as nobody wants to rack my brain trying to proove me its existence (or not) it's fair enough.. They can pray, worship, whatever.. It is their right.. Just no proselytism, please, and I'm ok with it..

always good words kakoo, very respectable, bravo!
I hope i'm not proselitist when i say my thinkings, and i hope that speaking about what i believe is not proselitist too!
don't worry i will not try to rack your brain at all!
but it's only a parano of myself, cause when you talk about that, people always think that you're in cruised!
perhaps our past was not good at all, but i think this was not about religion but about people themself!
what did i say just on your sentence kakoo, i'm a little bit deviant! lol |

My post wasn't aimed directly at you, Lolivier, I was writing in general..
But here yes, I think you have a point. But here comes the fragile 'boarder', if you see what I mean.. It's up to you, when you're talking about it to anybody, not to insist if you feel the person you're speaking to is not interessed or on the defensive.. Simple as that..
The problem is that some people can't understand this very simple thing... And therefore we have the situations we can witness everyday in the world..

yes and not only for religion, that's the same with music!
people are so passionate by this two things that's sometimes it become naturaly a big "bordel" (sorry for the french word i couldn't find a english word who work as well as this one)
once again your words are very respectfull (je voulais dire sage, mais ne trouve pas le mot en anglais: my poor english) |

i don't see anybody who have a answer for my post about the stuff that religion and transe are the same!
but it is, and people are always making the same mistake, perhaps you can show me a way that tranc(s)e is not a religious thing, perhaps that's true, but my knowledge and my imagination show me that it is! |

Trance is not a religion! Artists are not Gods. We should worship to no one. It isn't healthy. Trance is a way of life and no a religion!
Religions twist reality to elusion.
