on a more serious note
All religions say the same thing in a different cultural context....
so i should think that any religion / religious icon can be used in the psytrance context...
...specially because the roots of psy lie in the earliest human rituals... call it tribal rituals if you want... (repetitive rhythms used in all kinds rituals)
all this started before all the 'major' religions we call today... so all if it had to have an effect and still does...
Moses' burning bush seems quite psychedelic to me. It inspired him towards his understanding of God.... nature... or whatever you wanna call it... perhaps its just the universe.. uni = one. verse = sound / ... verse.. a term used in song, poetry, and more specifially rhythm.
universe - one sound... OM in the Hindu context.
